From Challenge to Capacity: Strategic Grantwriting for Sustainable Impact
Build the funding strength your mission deserves through strategic storytelling, responsible AI use, and capacity-based grant development.
Nonprofits today are navigating one of the most complex funding landscapes in recent history. Shifting policies, evolving philanthropic priorities, and increasing restrictions on language in federal grants have made it more difficult for organizations to tell their authentic stories. At the same time, the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming how nonprofits communicate, operate, and compete for funding.
Join the St. Louis Philanthropic Organization for From Challenge to Capacity: Strategic Grantwriting for Sustainable Impact, a 2.5-hour complimentary workshop designed to help nonprofit leaders and development professionals rethink how they approach grant development in times of change. Participants will explore how to reframe restricted language without losing meaning, use AI responsibly to enhance storytelling and strengthen operations, and assess their organization’s readiness to pursue foundation and federal funding. Participants can attend in person or virtually.
More than just learning how to “write better grants,” this session equips participants to view grantwriting as a long-term capacity-building strategy—one that aligns mission, data, and impact to build funding resilience and organizational sustainability. Attendees will leave with practical tools and strategies to navigate the changing funding environment, communicate their mission with confidence, and position their organizations for sustained success and deeper community impact.
